console output when starting Foobar2000 v1.0.3 and trying to play an mp3

BTW, this (different) error message appears when I try to play an mp3 in
Foobar2000 v1.0.3 (which I just installed, hoping it would fix the problem).
Also, the console output is a bit different now, see the attached log.

Results are consistent.
