Wine simply does not provide mscomctl.ocx, setting something to 'native' effectively disables it if you don't have this native module.
Hi Nikolay, I installed Vb6 using the MS installation disk. This showed mscomctl.ocx being installed. I have also copied it across from a working vb6 installation to the wine c drive system32 folder and used regvr32 to register it. Whilst this responded ocx successfully registered, problem persists
