This patch causes the Port Royal 2 demo to not load

it fails with the following error:
X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
  Major opcode of failed request:  144 (GLX)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  5 (X_GLXMakeCurrent)
  Serial number of failed request:  533
  Current serial number in output stream:  533

With this patch backed out with cvs it starts up and displays its main menu
