Possible, yes.  How much time it will take is another matter.  I'm no expert in
win32 programming, so there's much trial and error involved before I can
identify and fix the problem.  Someone more knowledgeable of the I/O subsystem
might be able to do it faster.

Meanwhile, the 0121 version of the launcher still works if you modify the
version.txt file to make it think it's version 0124 and not update itself.
