installation succeeds here with recent Wine 1.7.x version.
Your Wine version 1.4 is pretty outdated and no longer supported, upgrade. If you don't know how to do that, visit WineHQ user forums to get help: http://forum.winehq.org/
Anyway, what you are trying to do won't work anyway.
Wine is not an operating system and doesn't implement the "Windows kernel" infrastructure needed to support these kind of hardware driver classes.
If your Wireless USB dongle is not recognized by your Linux distro, you're out of luck.
As general advice: don't buy hardware which is not supported by Linux (kernel). Wine can't help you with that.
