--- Comment #4 from David dav75uk@yahoo.co.uk --- It's not a freeze as such, you need to select an option from the dialog, but the dialog is not sized/showing correctly so it doesn't display. Thus you can't do anything. Logs after the event aren't going to show anything abnormal going on.
Looking at it again, it might not be size, but it's not being drawn correctly. I did see a save dialog (save an edited game / new game) that had a missing title bar once. Dialogs are also often working, but suddenly fails to show correctly due to this issue (thread issue being the real cause maybe?)
This doesn't appear to happen on ChessBaseReader but the intermittent nature makes that hard to verify.
To reproduce, start ChessBase11, open a board, enter a move, back up, enter a different move - a fair bit of the time (not always) the dialog querying what to do with the new move will not be visible.
I took a screenshot of how that dialog should look (move dialog) - but when it goes wrong, nothing pops up, which makes any screenshot pointless.
When you have a game with multiple moves at certain points of the game, pressing right to go to the next move where there is a choice should pop up a choice dialog. Sometimes this just showing the top portion of the box (see the screen shot, just above the moves pane over the tabs). Attached are ones drawn correctly and in error.
