I do run the native version, I was just comparing the performance between both versions. The native version performs better (Which isn't really that surprising to be honest).
the 100% CPU hang bug concerned only running the windows version over wine anyways. Never had any amount of trouble with the native linux steam version.And i agree i like the native version very much performance-wise.
