Duplicate of 48357.
The white screen is a symptom of a pending update + broken connection.
I confirm I have a white screen in origin with wine-5.0-rc4.
Updating to wine-5.0-rc5 fixed the issue for me.
Please, update to wine-5.0-rc5.
