Multi-monitor handling still is nonexistent in ddraw and d3d8/9. Henri has some hacky patches for Multihead support in d3d9 which enable the multi-head 3D rendering in Supreme Commander. Doing the same for ddraw is an entirely different story though.
I guess some unrelated change changed the random bad behavior into a random good one :-/
