Right, I have heard about it some time ago and even looked a few days ago for a
way to disable it. But this is a general problem because as long as binary
builds are provided by third parties they might also contain patchsets.
Probably the only real solution would be if upstream would provide official
binary builds additionally packaged in common formats.
