--- Comment #4 from Dan Omar despinete@gmail.com 2010-04-21 07:25:54 --- In Excel 2003 i've managed to dissable the splash screen by running Excel from the command line adding the "/e" switch at the end, i.e.: "wine .wine/drive_c/Program Files/Microsoft Office/OFFICE11/EXCEL.EXE /e" I think that in word you can use "/q", for powerpoint "/splash" (all without quotes) Hope this helps
