Mike, this appears to be due to the windowing/gl rewrite that is currently in
progress.  If I can get a few questions answered, it will help in determining if
it is for sure though.

Are you using an up-to-date CVS or a snapshot release?
 If you are using a snapshot, which one is it?
Has this program worked in the past?
 If you are unsure, can you revert to a snapshot from october or november of
last year, test, and post whether it worked under that release?
