Created attachment 47367 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=47367 screen print of the error message
After successfully installing wine 1.6.1 from the Mageia 4 RC repository to an Asus netbook and installing a Windows program from a 1996 cover CD, I decided that I needed a larger drive an more RAM.
When both were installed and the system re-installed from the same DVD, I again installed wine 1.6.1 (including qtwine version 1.0 and again attempted to install the same program.
It failed with two results, an error window displaying:
"The program winevdm.exe encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
but more surprisingly, the browser came up with this url.

This is a political message. Does this mean wine is now held hostage?
I was able to reproduce this effect a second time.
