Did the folowing

sudo chown -R $USER:$USER .wine

Then

sudo adduser marc dialout

Then

marc@SPUPERMICRO-X9DRH-iF:~/.wine/drive_c/diypgmrs$ groups
marc adm cdrom sudo dip plugdev lpadmin lxd sambashare

So checked as it wasnt showing like you said but trying to add again it said
this

[sudo] password for marc: 
The user `marc' is already a member of `dialout'.

so now i will reboot and see if it takes effect.
