Many of the models in Sid Meier's Pirates have very blocky edges, as though they have heavily pixelated shadows/halos surrounding them. This problem is especially noticeable during movement of the human models.
This is on Ubuntu Hardy x86 32 bit with an nVidia GeForce 8800GTS 512MB (G92 chip), with nVidia driver 169.12.
The problem did not go away when I disabled pixel shaders.
I did not see this glitch when running under Cedega.
