Hello folks,

since OP didn't respond, I searched and found a distributed backup of
Solidworks 2007 SP0 to play with.

Prerequisite: 'winetricks -q dotnet20 mfc42'

Installs fine.
After splash screen, the EULA is shown upon first start just as illustrated in
comment #2
The app proceeds to load and shows main user interface.

Resolving 'fixed'.

$ wine --version
wine-1.7.31
