I don't think that there is anything more fishy than usual going on. Not even sure how one overrides dll:s. The only steps I have taken when installing are those described in the test data: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=15227
sh winetricks msxml6 gdiplus gecko vcrun2005 ie6
Native ie6 is the cause.
