[Bug 9277] Folder selection doesn't work correctly since 0.9.42

The patch I just attached above temporarily fixes the bug for those who want to
use wine 0.9.44 by simply reversing the original patch which introduced the
bug.

It does not actually represent a good solution, but in case it helps any other
users I have posted it.
