What's interesting is that you can actually have another submenu open without
reopening the whole menu. If you hover on Save As, then immediately move to
Print, the menu vanishes. But if you hover on Save As, then go back to an item
without a submenu, like Save, then move to and hover at Print, then Print
successfully opens its submenu. This works with all items without submenu as
intermediate points and those with submenus as target points.
