[Bug 23449] Daemon tools Lite 4.35.6 Fails to install, giving error message: "Internal setup error. Error code 256. Contact support."

no, the installer still gives the message "Internal setup error. Error code
256. Contact support." the same as before. however my terminal gives a
different message (as above) compared to before the patch was applied
