Hi Zeb, thanks for your response. No, unfortunately none of the versions of
Wine from WineHq, be they Wine Staging or Wine Development, seem to work. I
fail to understand why I'm always getting some kind of error when I attempt to
configure Wine. Most users seem to be able to achieve at least some progress in
configuring Wine and running .exe files.
