apt reinstall of wine plus directory list

I kept getting
$winetricks
------------------------------------------------------
wine cmd.exe /c echo '%ProgramFiles%' returned empty string
------------------------------------------------------
error
Naturally, I thought it was my mistake, but!
As seen at below attachment, my .wine/drive_c is completely EMPTY!
I attempted to wipe everything out by issuing

sudo apt-get remove wine1.7
rm -rf $HOME/.wine &&
rm -f $HOME/.config/menus/applications-merged/wine* &&
rm -rf $HOME/.local/share/applications/wine &&
rm -f $HOME/.local/share/desktop-directories/wine* &&
rm -f $HOME/.local/share/icons/????_*.xpm
sudo apt-get remove --purge wine
sudo apt-get remove --purge wine1.7
sudo apt-get remove --purge winetricks
sudo apt-get update &&
sudo apt-get autoclean &&
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoremove

Several times, but the directory is still empty.
Using Ubuntu 14.04.2 64 bit
Everything was fine until I reinstalled wine
