[Bug 9916] "make test" usually fails

This bug report's getting too big, so new bugs, perhaps.
But when you have a recent regression like that,
if you can narrow it down to a likely culprit,
try emailing the culprit directly (and cc wine-devel)
instead of filing a bug.  Often that does the job
with less fuss.
