Works for me - Wine 3.4, official Ubuntu PPA, Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit.
Tested plugin in LMMS 1.2.0rc3 (Windows 64-bit), running in Wine.
The plugin loads and makes music, no crash.
The editor window doesn't render, but that'll be a separate bug to this one.
So apparantly this is fixed, reported also by other user and me
