I agree, this looks wrong. I haven't checked, but it makes sense for overall
run ABC values to be computed after positioning, doing that before is quite
meaningless. Regarding leftmost or rightmost glyphs, it's not going to work.
Combined ABC should consider actual glyph positions after shaping - glyphs will
be moved against each other, and some glyphs like diacritics will generally not
contribute as a simple increment.
