Today there was a software optimization an update to version 2.0.4.
So, I turned off almost all visual effects of KDE and rebooted my PC.
After that I ran the game: the music, sound effects are clear, the
characters' speech understandable. And yes, I had to manually modify
Variables.txt to reduce the screen resolution to 1024x768.

It's a little slow (maybe because my video card is integrated to 
motherboard), but playable.
P.S.: wine 1.5.24 (with virtual desktop emulation 1024x768), 
StarCraft II 2.0.4 (Universal - 2.0.4.24944)
