Thank you for clarifying. libvdpau1:i386 (>= 0.2) was not installable without
removing the previously mentioned apps. Afterwards, the apps could be
reinstalled without any issue. From what I can see, they're the same version
that I already had installed previously - but possibly with the difference of
one dependency.

Issue solved. User error (although the user does not know when or how this
happened).
