This does look pretty similar to bug 30834. Does commit c722f2d31ec61fe372e466957605b222ee6f9a7d help here as well?
Tested with git master build on Thu 14 Jun 2012 06:37:05 PM CEST that includes the above commit. Xwing95 now runs without problems and crashes no longer.
