It happens in FL Studio as well. FL itself doesn't crash immediately but the VST Wrapper plugin does. It loads without any error when trying to load it in FL's Patcher, which doesn't immediately show the GUI. You get errors once you try to open the GUI, so it would indeed seem it's the GUI that's causing the problems.
