[Bug 47254] Legacy9 randomly crashes

There is a free download of this genealogy program at

that could be used for testing. It includes a small sample database. The bug
doesn't always appear at the same point in the program. I think it has
something to do with the amount of activity the user is doing. It seems most
prone to crash after selecting something from one of the drop-down menus.
