Works here for me with wine-1.3.1. (I'm on current nvidia with proprietary drivers.)
There's a good description of a trick the developer is using to decide whether bitmaps are upsidedown at http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?PHPSESSID=b3ba669e62b8b95ce4faea... Perhaps Wine didn't handle that trick before...
I'll email offline a bit with Alejandro Lavarello, who says he's still having the problem.
