Confirming. Under wine-1.3.24-174-g4b4dd30 it crashes here:

Full console log attached, but "Too many full buffer conversions, stopping converting" seems harmless, because it shows up in first scenario, but the save is loaded latter.
Now it happend to freeze (not crash) wit message: err:d3d:wined3d_device_uninit_3d Something is still holding a reference to depth/stencil buffer 0x15db48.
