AtlCreateRegistrar missing is bug 30512
Does the patch there help?
After applying that patch, the installer prints the below log: --- snip --- fixme:atl:AtlModuleUpdateRegistryFromResourceD hinst 0x3: did not get module name err:ole:CoUninitialize Mismatched CoUninitialize err:ole:CoUninitialize Mismatched CoUninitialize --- snip ---
After installation, the application still crashes.
