Tested on my FX, also works there.

I didn't really test it on my desktop system in the past, so maybe I didn't
notice this, but there are a lot of these messages on the console:
err:d3d_surface:d3dfmt_p8_init_palette This code should never get entered for
DirectDraw!, expect problems
