[Bug 29168] Star Wars: The Old Republic game client hangs at intro splash

I'm not ready to sign this off as a server side issue.  For one thing, the
knowledge base isn't getting updated and I saw several servers that are full
with "Calculating" written but it doesn't ever update.  I also remember that on
the Official Forum, the splash screen with the blue cogs should be making a
return after selecting servers (which with your workaround means a
blackscreen).  This is basically what most of the complaints on the loading
screen seems to be.
