I no longer see the tessellation bug on monsters, and in areas with such monster and previously bad performance, things have improved a lot. So the most annoying visual bug is gone and performance has even improved here.
Are you sure about that? I tested recently (Wine master with needed staging patches), and bug 43828 was still there.
Yes, that problem is gone for me in wine-staging. It was there in 2.19, gone in 2.20. I still have 2.19 installed, so I could cross-check.
Packages were built using Gentoo portage.

I bumped the version from 2.19 to 2.20 in my own local overlay. Version 2.20 is not yet released in official portage.
