[Bug 28898] Diablo 3 beta multi-threaded installer freezes

Ok, I just realised something really odd (which also explains my slow-downs).
Somehow, two copies of Diablo III.exe get launched. As in, two distinct copies
of the game. I have to exit one, and then I can play the second one smoothly.
If I try to play the first, it's choppy.

I have no idea if this relates to my patch (or even how it could) but if it
does get slow, test this for me as well.
