Kindle for PC does not work with WINE 1.3.28 either. I'm running Ubuntu Natty
and latest Kindle for PC downloaded and re installed on 14 Sept 11. Confirm
worked with three week old version of Wine. The wine update which stopped came
through Ubuntu update manager -sorry I've lost the version number of this.

Hope this helps - I'm a newbie and am not really sure how to use this site.
