No I mean the terminal from which you ran Wine. Attach complete content of it (as a text file attachment do not paste, unless it's <=5 lines).

--- Comment #6 from CN Gnome cngnome@gmail.com 2008-06-03 15:42:04 --- Yes and no. Dialog no longer comes up and the game crashes on command prompt so the place has changed. Please see attached console log. The last message in console before crash says 'Loading resouce manager'.

Is this still an issue in current (1.1.9 or newer) wine?
No. Or lets say its hard to say because now we dont get even that far with 1.1.9 and with Storm of Zehir installed...

--- Comment #11 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net 2008-12-20 14:55:00 --- Hello,
I've already said it in other nwn2 bug reports created by you - but you seem to ignore hints. Please install .NET 2.0 Framework the *recommended* way using 'sh winetricks dotnet20'. Don't let the game/toolkit setup install .NET Framework - this won't work!
The CLR callstack from comment #9 still indicates that you didn't install .NET properly!
Please provide step-by-step instructions what and how did you install the whole thing. I'm tempted to advise to dismiss such bugs as INVALID.
Regards

--- Comment #12 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2008-12-20 18:11:48 --- Agree. Also remove ~/.wine directory before you do anything else. You have StarForce installed there (sfhlp01.sys) that crashes during startup.
