I've tested it under this combination:

- Open Suse 11.1
- non-OSS NVidia graphics driver
- emulated desktop

All Star Trek Armada 2-Versions are affected.

What sound driver? Have you removed pulseaudio?

Sound driver: not ALSA, but the other two are activated.

This was an additional workaround that I did. The error was, after some
googling, because of the OS distribution (like Open Suse 11.1), and not because
of Wine.

Do not use pulse audio - that's the bug in it you are describing. Closing
invalid.
