Why did you generate loaddll? It's useless for most of bug reports, same for
warn+all.

Sorry for that, I could make relay log, but it is big, and I think, that this
bug is easy to reproduce - the developer will make its own testing anyway.

I am sorry, I didn't know, that bugs with dll overrides should not be reported.
So please follow substub-solution (commenting out the exception call) I
suggested in Bug 12690 as workaround instead of using native rpcrt4.

I get the same message as the original submitter using a pristine setup (new
wineprefix, no overrides) using todays git.

I get this same error, seems to be a shdocvw error, when I try to go to
http://www.google.com it tells me it cannot find it.

I am unable to replicate this bug with wine 1.1.30!

(Webpages like wikipedia, winehq, altavista and youtube are usable.
Most search-engine-pages like google, yahoo and bing do not show
searchresults.)

I used the HOWTO on

to install IE7.

"winetricks ie7" works (you may have to retry it a couple times), 
and installs an ie7 that works usably (with many bugs).
It does override
  iexplore.exe itircl itss jscript mshtml msimtf shdoclc shdocvw shlwapi urlmon
xmllite

Can we whittle down that list yet?  e.g. is our urlmon good enough yet?

IE8 with builtin urlmon crashes, but so does winedbg.

With all those workarounds this has become a bit of a metabug. It kind of needs
tearing apart into individual components.

This covers too many bugs. The original problem is discussed and a workaround
is given in Bug 25648.

New bugs for each problem should be raised so that people have something to
work with.
