Summary: Lotus 123R5 error dialog Product: Wine Version: 1.1.27 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Keywords: win16 Severity: trivial Priority: P3 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: kennybobs@o2.co.uk
Created an attachment (id=22940) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=22940) Wine 1.1.27 console output
To recreate: 1. Load Lotus 1-2-3 Release 5 2. Select "Amortize a Loan". 3. A popup error dialog opens, that doesn't say anything.
Clicking X to close the window allows you to continue. At this point, I don't know what it might be affecting, so it's trivial.
1-2-3 R5 comes with Smartsuite 3.1.

--- Comment #4 from Ken Sharp kennybobs@o2.co.uk 2011-10-02 14:41:09 CDT --- Still present in wine-1.3.29.
The error dialog now says "Could not dynamically load library" and does not lock up the app.

--- Comment #5 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2013-11-13 16:52:03 CST --- This is your friendly reminder that there has been no bug activity for 2 years. Is this still an issue in current (1.7.6 or newer) wine? If so, please attach the terminal output in 1.7.6 (see http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log).

--- Comment #9 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- In Wine 1.7.44 (and 1.6.2) 123R5 crashes in winevdm which I cannot be bothered to bisect. Had to install with Wine 1.6.2 to work around a number of bugs.

--- Comment #10 from Ken Sharp imwellcushtymelike@gmail.com --- In Wine 2.2 there is a pop-up stating "OUT OF MEMORY" but everything appears to continue without issue. This bug is fixed.
