Bug ID: 35962 Summary: opml.exe failing with wine Product: Wine Version: 1.7.1 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: ebever@researchintegration.org
Created attachment 48059 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=48059 error on trying to run opml.exe with wine on Fedora 19
I just installed Wine from Fedora 19 using yum. I downloaded the OPML Editor from OPML.org, unzipped it, and saved the opml directory to /home/eric/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/OPML.
The attached error messages came when I tried to open opml.exe with Wine Windows Program Loader.
When I tried from the command line
[eric@ericscomputer OPML]$ pwd /home/eric/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/OPML [eric@ericscomputer OPML]$ wine opml.exe
I got the same result.

--- Comment #1 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net --- Hello folks,
I can't reproduce the crash. Update your Wine to a newer version, preferably 1.7.16
Your backtrace shows you were trying to print something?

Please always describe what you were doing at the time of the crash. What steps to reproduce. Otherwise it's just guesswork (and wasting people's time).

--- Comment #2 from ebever@researchintegration.org --- I've got 1.17.13-1, which is the latest with Fedora 19.
I wasn't trying to print--just to run opml.exe, as my description indicates. I was confused by the reference to not being able to open printer L that showed up after I did the command line attempt to run opml.exe.
"Please always describe what you were doing at the time of the crash. What steps to reproduce. Otherwise it's just guesswork (and wasting people's time)."
I thought I did this, both when I tried to open it with Nemo and when I tried from the command line.
