PDF-XChange Viewer is a fancy PDF document viewer, possibly "best in show" due to its many features - including the ability to annotate documents.
When the mouse pointer changes to a hand for pushing the document up or down, the dropshadow appears as a large solid black region surrounding the hand. An error is produced by wine that says: fixme:system:SystemParametersInfoW Unimplemented action: 4132 (SPI_GETDROPSHADOW).

The drop shadow continues to be drawn as a black region around the icon, instead of a shadow. The SPI_GETDROPSHADOW fixme message is gone however. There are other fixme messages coming out that I will attach. Something is still amiss.

When I move the mouse around, the mouse pointer moves around fine, it is simply a problem with how it is rendered on the screen. These fixme messages come out as soon as the program is started. No more fixme msgs occurred while I was running the program.

This problem seems recur. Ubuntu 13.04 Wine 1.4 PDF XChange Viwere 2.5
