is printed when "doskey" is entered in Wine cmd.

well... doskey used to be useful when no history edition wasn't available from
command line... something like 30 years ago

are you expecting just to error to go away (eg when using some existing
.bat/.cmd files), or do you have real doskey features need?
(some of them like history recall, line edition are embedded into cmd.exe)

I expect all real documented doskey features supported in Windows cmd.

What application depends on this? Does it have a public demo/download?

I don't know applications depending on this. But the most important doskey
facility to me (and missing in Wine) is creating command macroses.
