Please try with properly mounted original CD/DVD. If still doesn't work, attach

Official setups from Microsoft work fine here, using Wine 1.5.1:

Due to legal problems Microsoft had with Office 2007, its not available anymore
on microsoft.com - but the old links in the thread above still work.

You should try these setups, you can activate them with your legally obtained
key.
