Same for me. Applied all patches etc. and I get insta freeze just after trying to bring mouse over Play button. On Wine without patches it's working (client, game not of course). With or without Lutris is always same results.

Still nothing. I'll what I have done: 1. Created Wine prefix and installed using this script: https://gitlab.com/GloriousEggroll/leagueoflegends-linux
2. Installed corefonts using winetricks
3. Removed all DLL overrides, keeping only DirectX
4. Tried to play
Still freezing after hovering Play button, login animation still not working (Play button isn't animated as well), still not able to play.

It looks like client bug, but how is this possible? Same client works on unpatched Wine.

if your talking about the "crashes when mouse hover over play" I no longer have that but i do get bug splat when trying to launch a game after champ selection even though i had the patch that suppose to prevent this. and im on Ubuntu 18.04

could there be a difference between other flavors of Linux? i have all other patches working and removed the patch that caused the client freezing but i still get bug splat when trying to start a game. i saw you have arch Linux and i have Ubuntu, i also noticed people saying that there game is fixed with being on arch but others on Ubuntu with this patch still gets bug splat... so im just asking if maybe there is some difference

I modified the ntdll info test to print the output of NtQuerySystemInformation(SystemModuleInformation, ...). The implementation of this on Wine calls LdrQueryProcessModuleInformation. It may be the case that what is wrong is the fact that SystemModuleInformation calls LdrQueryProcessModuleInformation.
Testing on Windows XP and Windows 10, I only see kernel modules listed from the output of NtQuerySystemInformation(SystemModuleInformation, ...).
If your testing shows that LdrQueryProcessModuleInformation is correct, then a better patch would be to make NtQuerySystemInformation not call LdrQueryProcessModuleInformation.

Yep, it looks like it. (Interestingly SystemModuleInformation does actually yield a large number of user-space DLLs, but they're clearly not the DLLs that are loaded into the process in question.)
