an exception when trying to run SETUP.EXE making installation impossible.

Can you test if reverting to wine-7.15 fixes the problem?

Downgrading to 7.15 fixed the install problem.  Now I've got other issues on
starting the program, most likely involving some sort of legacy video codec
used by this Monty Python game. But at least the install now works.  Thanks.
