Yes, that's the problem.

Sorry, seemed major to little old me, since I was not able to simulate the
schematic.

Is there another version that I should be using?

Actually no, that's not the program that is the problem.

The schematics editor, known as Schematics, works fine. The problem is when I
try to run a simulation, which calls the Capture program. That is where both
programs crash.
