I was able to install Visio Professional 2007 using Wine 1.1.39, but whenever I try to run it, it loads and crashes immediately after I click on any element in the UI. This is reproducible every time, and I am running this in Windows XP mode.
The error signature in Visio is: AppName: visio.exe AppVer: 12.0.4518.1014 AppStamp:454281f4 ModName: ogl.dll ModVer: 12.0.4518.1014 ModStamp: 454285ac fDebug: 0 Offset: 0001f07f
My current DLL overrides are:
gdiplus (native) msctf (native) mshtml (native, builtin) msxml3 (native, builtin) msxml6 (native, builtin) riched20 (native, builtin) shdocvw (native, builtin) urlmon (native, builtin) usp20 (native, builtin) wininet (native, builtin)
I have installed some, not all of the above packages using winetricks. The packages I have installed are msxml3, msxml6, dotnet20, gdiplus.
I am running CentOS 2.6.18-92.1.18.el5.

Alternatively, if it doesn't show a backtrace as shown in http://wiki.winehq.org/Backtraces then follow the steps there.

--- Comment #6 from Roger Wilco rojwilco@gmail.com 2010-03-04 09:46:22 --- Yes, I tried without setting any of the dlls to native, and it did the same thing. I changed them that way because it was suggested to do so by several people on the Internet and, I believe, in the AppDB.
I will attach a regular wine output from the crash, as well as a debug trace (+relay,+seh,+tid).

--- Comment #9 from Jaime jskartman@gmail.com 2010-10-22 04:41:29 CDT --- I don't see this error on wine 1.3.5 and visio 2007 sp1, on a clean prefix without dll overrides (visio 2007 seems to work well without dll overrides , visio 2003 seems to need winetricks gdiplus). The only error i see is bug 24606, so this error seems fixed.
